Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Phantoms is yet another title in the spectrum of Tom Clancy-inspired shooter games from the well-known video game producer known as Ubisoft. The object of the game is to play through multiplayer levels, protecting your teammates and killing the enemy in the process. Ghost Recon Phantoms is highly similar to other games in this genre, including Battlefield, Call of Duty, and Counter Strike. One thing that players will notice about Ghost Recon Phantoms is that it brings together many of the most advanced gameplay techniques found anywhere, and teamwork is a must in this complex and dangerous environment.

Unlike other team shooter games, the primary mode of action for this game is capturing and controlling specific points within the game map. As teams advance through each level, they must work together to reach group objectives. This helps players learn to rely on each other instead of playing for themselves in team battles, and it allows players to learn more strategy and better tactics. As your character plays through the game ranks, they will earn in-game money that can be used to further improve the character with equipment and new classes.

Of course, as with many free game systems, there are constant and numerous opportunities for in-game purchases with real money that will boost character development even further. Players have the option of speeding their progression through the ranks by purchasing equipment, runes, and other consumables. Such practices might be good for revenue, but constantly asking players to spend real money can be a damper for the entertainment value of the game overall.
